Exploring the idea of a circular economy

What does the circular economy look like? What does it feel like?

The Ellen MacArthur Foundation's 2019 Summit will bring the circular economy to life providing a unique opportunity for audience members to see up close and personal what it means for a range of everyday products, including cars, clothing, and beer.

As part of this year's event, our project lead, Mark Miodownik, will be taking part in a panel discussion around materials innovation, addressing themes such as the need for a cross-industry approach to sustainability; product durability and repairability; and the importance of embracing environmental and economic challenges when designing (particularly plastic) products.

Mark will be joined by a penal of experts, including Florian Graichen, Science Leader at Scion, Daniella Russo, Founder and CEO of Think Beyond Plastic, and Catia Bastioli, CEO of Novamont.
